JOB TITLE: Packaging Technician

LOCATION: ANAHEIM, CA

REPORTS TO: Lead brewer

Bottle Logic Brewing is hiring a full-time Packaging Technician to join our production team! We operate a 30bbl four-vessel brewhouse, a main-side cellar of ten 30bbl tanks and fourteen 60bbl tanks, a Wild Goose canning line, and a GAI rotary bottler. Our 7bbl pilot system with a twenty-tank cellar gives us nearly unlimited flexibility in exploring the boundaries of beer. The base pay range for this position is between $16 - $18 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Packaging of beers into cans, bottles, and kegs.

  • Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning, both in the cellar and throughout brewery grounds.

  • Operate aspects of packaging, including quality checks, labeling, palletizing, and movement of finished materials.

  • Obtaining the proper authorization to package a beer.

  • Document key quality parameters and verify that beer meets specifications.

  • Prepping equipment beforehand to utilize team time efficiently and effectively.

  • Ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment and communicate issues to management.

  • Keeping production areas clean and organized at all times.

  • Communicating with management and other packaging team members on the status of packaging.

  • Organize, track, and audit inventory of bottles, cans, crowns, labels, and all other packaging supplies.

  • Building the Bottle Logic brand through promotional activities (festivals, beer dinners, etc.).

  • Shipping and receiving deliveries.

  • Washing, filling, palletizing, and storing kegs for use.

  • Adjunct ingredient prep work. (Vanilla bean slicing, coconut toasting, banana flambé-ing, etc)

  • Other brewery-related tasks that may require assistance, as assigned by brewery leadership.    

  • Performing all functions according to Bottle Logic procedures and policies.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:

  • Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

  • Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations, and requirements.

  • Communicate clearly and concisely with respect to all Bottle Logic’s personnel at all levels.

  • Physical capability of regularly lifting up to 55lbs and maneuvering 165lbs, comfort working at heights, in cramped spaces and awkward positions, and in hot and cold environments for an extended period of time.

  • 21+ years of age, and the ability to pass a criminal background and illegal drug test.

JOB TITLE: AP/AR Specialist

LOCATION: ANAHEIM, CA

REPORTS TO: General Manager

This position is split between the Accounting and HR departments. They are responsible for the entry and processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Human Resources. They also assist in month-end close and other duties as assigned by management. YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for all incoming shipments, outgoing shipments, raw goods inventory, work in-process inventory, and finished product inventory

  • Issuing and tracking Purchase Orders for raw materials

  • Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly

  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely and accurate manner

  • Process payroll in a timely manner

  • Ensure that all administrative processes are completed for new and terminated employees

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Bottle Logic Brewing is hiring a full-time On/Off Premise Sales Representative to join our growing distribution team! The best candidate builds rapport with accounts and beer outlets in our designated delivery areas, communicates effectively, is action-oriented, and leads by example. The On/Off Premise Sales Representative is responsible for selling Bottle Logic beer by identifying and developing leads, educating potential customers, building positive, long-lasting rapport by delivering the correct products at the right time, maintaining clean draft lines of accounts, and collecting on payment when due.

The annual pay range for this position is between $45,000 and $70,000 depending on skills and experience, which is a combination of an hourly base rate plus commission.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Be an outstanding salesperson who tells the story of every product in an inspiring way.

  • Be available to all customers to communicate, identify, and address questions.

  • Review the wholesale department’s revenue, expense, and profit goals with the General Manager

  • Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs related to things such as new customer acquisition and repeat sales.

  • Create and track success metrics.

  • Review local wholesale progress with the General Manager and suggest improvements.

  • Submit relevant feedback to the General Manager.

  • Monitor inventory levels and sell within allocations.

  • Support efficient routing and drop schedules.

  • Pull/stage products, load vehicles, and make deliveries that meet/exceed time and mileage goals.

  • Work Location Expectation: 20% at base; 80% on the road.

KPIs:

  • Delegate workload appropriately and effectively.

  • Develop and support a positive attitude toward Bottle Logic Brewing and our operating partners.

  • Work with the General Manager to develop and attend critical events that will help maximize brand recognition and drive media attention.

  • Maintain safe working conditions. Resolve safety concerns quickly.

  • This is a full-time hourly position. The typical workweek is 40 hours, with work availability on the weekends. Some weeks may exceed 40 hours depending on the nature of travel and events.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:

  • 21+ Years of age

  • Prior beer sales experience is preferred.

  • CA Driver's License with a clean driving record is required. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional and charismatic manner.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to stay motivated without supervision from superiors.

  • Excellent time management skills. Be able to be proactive and take initiative.

  • Excellent organization and coordination skills. Be able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently.

  • Social perceptiveness – awareness of customers, vendors, and coworkers' space, time, and bandwidth.

  • Decision-making skills: collect, assess, and interpret relevant information to make sound judgments.

  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare analytical reports. 

  • Ability to use data to make high-impact decisions and improvements.

  • Ability to work with food-grade cleaning chemicals to regularly perform draft maintenance and cleanings.

  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Suite, and Quickbooks is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products necessary for wholesale customers, inventory restocking, and warehouse organization.

  • Ability to perform warehouse duties like keg stacking, fork lifting, and reorganization.

  • Ability to safely lift kegs up to 165 lbs.

  • Comfortable driving a delivery van, box truck, and forklift certified.
